上海民辦中芯學(xué)校榮獲上海市紅十字會(huì)【人道博愛獎(jiǎng)】！在2017年4月22日舉行的上海市紅十字會(huì)九次會(huì)員代表大會(huì)上，上海市民辦中芯學(xué)校被授予二屆"上海市人道博愛獎(jiǎng)"集體獎(jiǎng)，朱榮林總校長作為中芯學(xué)校代表出席本次會(huì)議并接受榮譽(yù)證書。

　　Shanghai SMIC School has been awarded the "Humanitarian Award" at the 9th Membership Conference of Shanghai Red Cross on April 22nd. Headmaster Ronglin Zhu attended the conference as representative of SMIC School and received the award.


　　中共中央政治局委員、上海市委書記韓正出席開幕式暨一次全體會(huì)議。全國人大常委會(huì)副委員長、中國紅十字會(huì)會(huì)長陳竺，上海市委副書記、市長應(yīng)勇出席并講話。上海市人大常委會(huì)主任殷一璀，中國紅十字會(huì)黨組書記、常務(wù)副會(huì)長徐科，市領(lǐng)導(dǎo)鐘燕群、方惠萍出席開幕式，副市長翁鐵慧主持會(huì)議。

　　The conference was a very high level event – Shanghai Party Secretary Han Zheng and many other key government officials of Shanghai attended the conference, and delivered speeches.

　　上海市人道博愛獎(jiǎng)是上海市紅十字會(huì)為了弘揚(yáng)紅十字精神，表彰和鼓勵(lì)社會(huì)各界人士和企業(yè)在推動(dòng)國際人道援助方面所作出的貢獻(xiàn)而設(shè)立的獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，經(jīng)過層層評(píng)選和推薦，我校從全上海數(shù)以千計(jì)的單位中脫穎而出，成為二屆人道博愛獎(jiǎng)集體獎(jiǎng)的十家獲獎(jiǎng)單位之一。

　　The Shanghai Red Cross Humanitarian Award is an award set up to promote humanitarianism and to award individuals and organizations for their charitable activities worldwide. After several rounds of selection and recommendation, our school stood out as one of ten group award recipients in Shanghai.

　　積極從事公益、發(fā)揚(yáng)博愛精神是我校的一項(xiàng)歷史悠久的較優(yōu)傳統(tǒng)。在"品格一"和"胸懷世界"的校訓(xùn)的感召之下，全校師生定期參加各種慈善活動(dòng)，將中芯人的愛心傳遞到世界的每一個(gè)角落，比如：扶少團(tuán)的"刷墻小分隊(duì)"、內(nèi)蒙古植樹計(jì)劃、饑餓30小時(shí)、愛心樹、捐款給烏干達(dá)和墨西哥的貧困地區(qū)，改善當(dāng)?shù)亟逃龡l件等義舉；而每年11月舉行的博愛慈善義賣和義演，更是將我校的公益類活動(dòng)推向高潮，成為學(xué)校社區(qū)中具影響力和號(hào)召力的慈善活動(dòng)之一。據(jù)不完全統(tǒng)計(jì)，我校師生及家長在2015-16年度，投身公益的時(shí)間達(dá)到了3萬小時(shí)之多。

　　SMIC School has a long history of actively engaging in charity and is an avid philanthropist in the local community, which perfectly exemplifies two of our four ESLRs "Persons of Character" and "Global Citizens". Our philanthropy goes beyond Shanghai area and reaches out to faraway countries like Mexico and Uganda. Here is a glimpse of what we do for charity:

　　30-hour famine

　　Plant trees in Inner Mongolia

　　Giving tree (donation of money and gifts to less privileged children)

　　Paint walls for old residential buildings in Shanghai

　　Caring Destiny (raise money for orphans in Uganda)

　　Adopt a child and give love this Christmas

　　The annual Art for Charity Program (ACP) marks the culmination of our humanitarian activities, and has become one of the most influential and inspiring charity events in local community. In school year 2015 – 2016 only, our teachers, students and parents spent a total of over 30 thousand hours on all kinds of charitable activities.

　　人道博愛獎(jiǎng)是上海紅十字會(huì)對(duì)我校多來年悉心慈善的肯定，更激勵(lì)著我們?cè)谖磥淼墓媸聵I(yè)中作為教育者和實(shí)踐者的雙重角色，身體力行，發(fā)揮更大的影響力和作用。

　　The Humanitarian Award is the recognition of years of charity by our school from Shanghai Red Cross. It also encourages us to continue to play a leading role in charity as both educator and practitioner.
